Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for our rental car services. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving team performance across all facets of the business, including lot logistics, vehicle readiness, detailing, and client service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong leadership skills, and is passionate about team development and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence Own the daily performance of the department, including the Ready Line, Detail, and Lot Logistics. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists are executed per shift. Monitor staffing levels and make daily adjustments based on volume and projections. Submit daily operational summaries and shift updates to the Manager. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of frontline staff and supervisors. Set clear goals, provide ongoing coaching, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration. Act as first-line support for supervisors, providing guidance, redirection, and performance feedback. Financial Oversight Monitor and analyze P&L statements to inform operational decisions. Implement cost-control strategies and optimize labor to ensure profitability. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Act as a point of escalation for client concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. Ensure seamless, professional, and efficient process maintaining client and customers standards. Maintain high standards for vehicle readiness and lot organization. Volume Management Coordinate staffing and logistics for peak periods and special events. Ensure operational continuity and service quality during high-demand times. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred. A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the rental industry strongly suggested. Understanding of Production, and the ebbs and flows of the travel industry preferred. Producing quality work in a timely manner is important. Strong focus on customer service and client satisfaction. Proficient in location profit and loss analysis. Client relationship management skills. Business development and strategic thinking abilities. Leadership and team-building skills. Valid Driver License with good driving record.
