V2X Stock Clerk Position

While assigned to the Fort Bragg Central Issue Facility (CIF), the Stock Clerk is concerned with issuing and receiving Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE). Updating SM clothing record using the ISM (Installation Support Module) systems. Inspecting equipment for serviceability, and stocking shelves. Verify and count equipment during annual inventory. Responsibilities
This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Major job activities include: inspecting and classifying OCIE for serviceability, examining stock to verify conformance to specifications, moving or transporting material using material-handling equipment, storing articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, filling orders or issuing supplies from stock, preparing periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock, compiling and reviewing records to locate material using Installation Support Module (ISM) systems, assisting in all inventories, ensuring all work areas are clean daily, assisting in the upkeep and maintenance of the facility, equipment and other warehouses, ensuring that all safety precautions are adhered to at all times, and performing other duties as required or directed by management. Working Environment
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as protective mask, safety vest, steel or composite shoes/boots, safety gloves, hard hat and eyewear in certain areas. Work will typically be in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment. There may be times when an employee is exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Physical Activities
Must be able to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer, copy machine and printer. Must be able to lift a minimum of 45 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk within work sites 6-8 hours a day in performance of duties. Must be able to push, pull, carry, stoop, bend, squat and reach. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include: a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, a valid REAL ID State Driver's License with no restrictions, ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), ability to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust, ability to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport, ability to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation, two (2) years or more experience in supply operations, high ethical standards and professionalism, ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment, proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), strong written and verbal communications skills, and ability to interact at all levels.
