The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Business Finance Manager, you will be able to work as a partner with the business to provide financial guidance and to be a direct link between USAC and the Global PP (Product Portfolios) leaders. Here, you will make an impact by: Providing financial counseling to the commercial and marketing organizations, focused on segments and verticals, including all TEBG portfolios. Deeply analyzing current and future business situations and financial viability, and identifying risks and red flags. Creating synergies and efficiencies in a high-performance business finance team. Execution of pricing strategies across the division and sub-region to optimize margins and maintain us competitiveness in price corridors. Improving sales effectiveness by leading the estimate process in a detailed and simplified manner and leveraging commercial effectiveness. GM analysis, focused on Std Margin (price, volume, sales mix) and general knowledge of full GM (including plant productivity, spend, inventory penalties, such as NWI, scrap, and others). Analysis and approval of commercial BIDs and negotiations, driving to effective decision making and policy accomplishment. OP/QOR/MRE/Estimates Execution process and monthly rhythm of R&O (risks and opportunities) estimates. SG&A Expenses analysis, with details among Direct (headcounts), Indirect, fixed, and variable, and how they are connected with the sales. Managing cash through Inventory (DIO) and Accounts Receivable (DSO) metrics. Managing business review presentations to top leadership. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance OR Economics OR Accounting OR Engineering OR Business Administration Management (completed and verified prior to start). Seven (7) years of experience in Finance, Audit, Credit & Collections, Treasury, Controllers, or Tax in a private, public, government, or military environment. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Master's/MBA in Business or Finance Advanced English communication skills. Advanced Excel skills. Financial acumen & empowerment to make decisions Leadership & influence skills Transportation & electronics sector experience Work location: On-site in Maplewood, MN, or London, Ontario, Canada, or at another 3M manufacturing or office site globally, at least 4 days per week.
