URGENT- DUST WIPE SAMPLING TECHNICIAN/ LEAD INSPECTOR
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Inspector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental inspections, particularly in identifying and assessing lead-based paint hazards. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, fieldwork, and client communication. Key Responsibilities
Conduct lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments in accordance with EPA, HUD, and state regulations. Collect environmental samples (paint, dust, soil, water) and ensure proper chain of custody. Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to clients and project managers. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Train and mentor junior inspectors as needed. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success. Qualifications
EPA-certified Lead Inspector and Lead Dust Sampling Technician Certification Minimum 2-4 years of experience in environmental inspections or related field. Strong knowledge of federal and state lead regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites. Preferred Qualifications
Additional certifications (e.g., Asbestos Inspector, Mold Assessor). Experience with XRF analyzers and environmental sampling equipment. Familiarity with HUD guidelines and housing authority protocols. Pay and Benefits
