Clinical Support Specialist
Provides support to the clinical team, providers and patients to deliver timely and quality health care services for optimal service and care. Principle Responsibilities include: Supports and assists providers and clinical staff with administrative and select patient care tasks. Cleans, prepares, organizes and re-stocks clinical areas and maintains supplies. Clinical safety support. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications include: Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required principle competencies. Preferred Qualifications include: High school diploma, GED or equivalent for positions utilizing i-STAT testing. Healthcare, patient care, electronic medical records, or medical terminology experience. Phlebotomy experience
only for sites where laboratory duties are performed. Licenses/Certifications include: Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire). Physical Demands include: Medium Work*: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently. Pay Range: $18.09 to $24.64 per hour. The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
