Position Responsibilities: Provides for resident's personal hygiene: gives bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves, and assists with showers. Provides for activities of daily living: assists with meals and feeds patients; ambulates, turns, and positions patients; provides fresh water and nourishment between meals. Performs I&O checks vital signs and weight; assists with specimen collection; and post-mortem care. Provides for comfort needs of residents Promptly answers resident's call lights and requests. Other duties are requested within scope of practice Position Requirements: Required Education: Successful completion of nursing assistant course Certified Nursing Assistant Certification to practice in the state Night Shift - current BLS required.
