Enterprise Director Of Home Medical Equipment (HME)
The Enterprise Director Of Home Medical Equipment (HME) provides strategic leadership and system-level oversight of all Home Medical Equipment services across WVU Medicine. This leader is responsible for aligning HME operations across multiple regions, ensuring consistent standards of service, compliance, and patient care while driving growth, efficiency, and innovation. The Enterprise Director collaborates with key leaders across the health system to integrate HME services into broader organizational goals and initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: Education, Certification, and/or Licensure: 1. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field Experience: 1. Ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in home medical equipment, durable medical equipment (DME), or a related healthcare operations field. Preferred Qualifications: Education, Certification, and/or Licensure: 1. Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field Experience: 1. Enterprise-level or multi-site management experience Core Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Lead and oversee the HME division at the enterprise level, ensuring alignment with WVU Medicine's mission, vision, and strategic priorities across all locations. 2. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand and strengthen HME services, including growth into new markets, expanded product lines, and partnerships with other WVU Medicine programs and service lines. 3. Direct daily operational performance across all HME sites, focusing on efficiency, standardization of processes, and quality of care. 4. Oversee and manage a multi-million-dollar enterprise budget, driving operational efficiencies and financial performance, including achieving and sustaining positive operating margins. 5. Lead and develop a team of approximately 60 employees across multiple locations, fostering a collaborative culture focused on accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement. 6. Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards and internal policies, maintaining high standards for quality and safety. 7. Partner with system executives, clinical leadership, supply chain, hospital leaders, physicians, and external vendors to deliver coordinated and seamless HME services across the continuum of care. 8. Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to improve patient care, operational workflows, and business outcomes. 9. Establish clear metrics for success, regularly monitoring performance outcomes and making data-driven decisions to ensure the division meets or exceeds organizational goals. Physical Requirements:
