Under the direction of the Department Manager and/or Phlebotomy Supervisor, the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) is responsible for specimen collection and processing and is guided by the policies and procedures of Laboratory department and the hospital. Qualifications
Job Duties/Requirements: Two years prior hospital experience preferred, but not required. General education level (high school). Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1) certificate, which meets the California Department of Health, Lab field services. Current BLS certification. CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
