Talent Intelligence Consultant

GM People Analytics is looking for a Talent Intelligence Consultant to join the People Analytics Consulting & Workforce Planning team. This high-impact role sits at the intersection of Strategic Workforce Planning, People Analytics, Global Talent Acquisition, and Business Leadership, ensuring GM has a competitive advantage in acquiring the critical skills needed for the future. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering actionable insights that inform strategic talent decisions, improve talent acquisition effectiveness, and influence executives. Your strong consulting and analytical skills, ability to translate data into actionable insights, and understanding of external labor market data will help us advance our analytics capabilities and enable data-driven decisions. This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta (GA), Austin (TX), Detroit (MI), Warren (MI), or Mountain View (CA), you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum. Responsibilities

Lead complex Talent Intelligence projects and provide ongoing consulting support to stakeholder groups on data-driven insights, project ROI and recommendations. Deliver actionable talent intelligence for GM's highest-priority skill areas, including emerging industries, adjacent markets, and transferrable skills to expand GM's reach for top talent. Serve as the strategic link between Talent Acquisition and Business Leaders, translating long-term business priorities into actionable talent strategies and identifying future skill gaps and opportunities. Partner cross-functionally with Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Corporate Development, and Compensation to deliver integrated talent landscape assessments that inform site strategy, M&A, and talent growth opportunities. Serve as GM's authority on external talent market data, including skills availability, academic pipelines, and competitor footprints while collaborating with partners who own related data. Develop frameworks to evaluate future site health, including talent availability, attainment rates, and success outcomes. Develop relationships within your stakeholder groups to understand their business challenges and respond through various analytics products. Leverage existing data and analytics tools and external research & benchmarking to answer Talent Intelligence related questions. Develop actionable recommendations and support your stakeholders through implementation of these recommendations. Lead cross-functional projects as needed Drive adoption and usage of People Analytics solutions. Help gather requirements for analytics solutions roadmap and future enhancements. Question assumptions on current operations and make improvement recommendations. Qualifications

5+ years of client-facing People Analytics experience with significant focus on providing Talent Intelligence Consulting or External Labor Market research and decision support. Demonstrated success building and scaling Talent Intelligence products, processes, and insights that influence executive decision making. Experience identifying strategic insights and market intelligence. Deep understanding of talent ecosystem and ability to connect workforce and market trends to broader business strategy and performance. Highly data-driven, consultative, passionate about data storytelling, a great communicator who can influence executive stakeholders by translating data into insights and solutions for their business problems. Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition data, market intelligence, and recruiting delivery processes. Strong data analytics skills and ability to leverage multiple internal and external data sources to enable data-driven insights and inform strategic talent decisions. Familiarity with inferential statistics techniques (e.g., correlation, regression) and how they apply to various business challenges. Degree with quantitative focus (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial and Organizational Psychology) and/or degree in Human Resources is a plus. Experience using Power BI, SQL, R, Python for data analysis and visualizations is a plus. Compensation

The expected base compensation for this role is $85,100 - $135,900 USD Annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position. Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance. This job is not eligible for relocation benefits.
