Weekend Operator
Weekend Schedule is Friday to Sunday, 12-hour shifts from 5 AM to 5 PM. Initial training occurs Monday to Thursday, 5 AM to 3:30 PM, for 2-3 weeks. Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Weekend Packaging Operator to join our team. You will primarily function as a machine operator, responsible for managing the back end of our wrapping operations stations using automatic machines. Your role will involve building boxes, inspecting finished reels, boxing finished materials, and placing finished boxes onto skids. This position requires repetitive work, some lifting, and quality inspection of parts. Responsibilities
Operate automatic machines at the wrapping operations stations. Build and inspect finished reels, box the finished material, and place finished boxes onto skids. Inspect parts for quality assurance. Push/pull carts, with full boxes weighing no more than 20 lbs. Load finished rolls of wallpaper into automatic cutting machines. Change out material in machine, load rolls, and move carts to staging areas. Load reels onto slitters for cutting into smaller rolls. Prepare finished products and place them on pallets for shipping. Track work using paper records and maintain organization. Essential Skills
Machine operation and mechanical aptitude. Experience in manufacturing and packaging. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks. Ability to measure and use a tape measure effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with inspection processes. Familiarity with bindery and press room operations. Why Work Here?
