Warehouse Worker
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the following warehouse activities including but not limited to: shipping, receiving, putaway, replenishment, item demand, consolidation, count checks, loading and unloading of trucks. Primary responsibilities include: Unloading & loading of shipments Putaway Replenishment, item demand, count checks and consolidation of items in the warehouse Receiving, picking and shipping of warehouse items Warehouse housekeeping and safety Minimum education required: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum experience required: Experience working in a warehouse environment preferred. Skills and abilities necessary include: Excellent communication, interpersonal and professional interactive skills Planning/Organization Customer Service Problem Solving Judgment Professionalism Detail Oriented Ability to read, understand and execute all relevant policies and procedures Physical demands include: Moving different package sizes and weights Walking, standing, sitting, using hands and fingers to operate equipment Lifting up to 50 pounds and/or moving up to 200 pounds with assistance Exposure to various environmental conditions Sysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution and offers opportunities for personal and professional growth.
