Key responsibilities include: Patient Paging & Preparation Pro: Expertly escorting patients to exam rooms, making them feel like VIPs (Very Important Patients), and meticulously preparing them for examinations. Vital Signs Virtuoso: A master of measuring blood pressure, weight, temperature, and other vital signs with the precision of a seasoned detective uncovering crucial clues. Documentation Dynamo: Accurately documenting patient information, medical histories, and treatment notes. Phlebotomy Fanatic (Optional but highly appreciated): Drawing blood without causing a dramatic production. Equipment & Exam Room Whisperer: Maintaining a pristine and organized environment, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring exam rooms are always stocked and ready. Minimum qualifications include: Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP) Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association CHI Health Clinic delivers more options and better access so you can spend time on what matters: being healthy.
