We are seeking exceptional candidates who are highly motivated and demonstrate a solid understanding of corporate development concepts and M&A processes. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in financial modeling, strategic assessment, and M&A due diligence, along with the curiosity and strategic thinking needed to identify important factors that may never fit on a spreadsheet. In addition, the Manager, Corporate Development will work with key cross-functional partners and must be comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders. This is a US Hybrid role located in our San Francisco office. What You Will Do: Work with senior executives and product leads to develop strategies and identify acquisition and investment opportunities that accelerate Oura's mission Maintain relationships with startups, VCs, investment bankers, and leading technology companies to stay up to date with competitive landscape and inform pipeline generation Develop and maintain the deal pipeline, including outreach to and sourcing of new opportunities Evaluate the benefits and risks of potential transactions and manage the process of building both internal and external consensus Act as a subject matter expert on valuation, including discounted cash flow analysis, accretion/dilution analysis, and business case modeling Drive the execution of M&A and strategic investments throughout the deal process, including sourcing opportunities, performing financial analysis, negotiating deal terms, and coordinating all aspects of due diligence and integration in coordination with cross-functional partners across product, engineering, legal, and other key stakeholders Establish the ongoing processes, skill sets, and strategy that will enable Oura to continue to build out our corporate development competency, in the face of extremely fast growth and a rapidly changing industry Collaborate with the broader Finance team to develop and drive deeper understanding of KPIs and implications on performance and valuation, particularly as they relate to corporate development initiatives Assist with the preparation of board and investor relations materials, highlighting corporate development strategies and their impact on long-term value creation
