Sr. Marketing Campaign Manager
Reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing, the Sr. Marketing Campaign Manager for Compete is a high-impact role designed for a marketer who is hungry to win. You will be responsible for developing and executing aggressive marketing campaigns engineered to displace specific competitors. This is a role for a strategic and tenacious individual who thrives on competition and is obsessed with delivering measurable results. You will act as the orchestrator for all compete initiatives, working with our product marketing, content, GTM, and operations teams to build and launch surgical GTM strategies. This role demands a blend of deep competitive analysis and brilliant, hands-on execution to create campaigns that disrupt the market, change perceptions, and directly contribute to technology adoption. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, results-obsessed marketer who excels at turning competitive insights into decisive action and can prove the impact of their campaigns on the business. Primary Accountabilities
Competitive Campaign Strategy & Execution
Develop and lead the execution of aggressive, multi-channel compete campaigns designed to convert customers from rival companies and immediately begin creating, deepening, and progressing account intimacy. Collaborate with teams on competitor analysis to identify strategic weaknesses, product gaps, and market opportunities that can be exploited with targeted marketing programs. Design and implement "always-on" competitive campaigns to maintain pressure, intercept key accounts, and continuously capture market share. Manage the entire campaign lifecycle, from collaborating on intelligence gathering and strategy formulation to execution, optimization, and post-campaign analysis. Partner with and direct external agencies to ensure all competitive campaign activities are sharp, on-brand, and relentlessly focused on achieving goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the company's subject matter expert and primary driver for competitive marketing campaigns, aligning internal teams, including GTM, product, content, and legal, around a unified and aggressive GTM approach. Forge a powerful alliance with the GTM teams, enabling them with the specific messaging, content, and air cover needed to win head-to-head deals. Translate complex competitive intelligence and business objectives into clear, actionable, and impactful campaign plans. Communicate campaign strategies, progress, and results with conviction and clarity to all stakeholders, including executive leadership.
KPIs, Inspection & Reporting
Define and own the KPIs for all competitive campaigns, focusing on hard metrics such as competitor displacement rates, logos acquired from target competitors, and market share shifts. Lead post-campaign "inspections" to dissect performance, digging deep into what worked, what failed, and identifying critical lessons to drive continuous improvement for the next attack. Collaborate with Marketing Operations to build and refine reporting dashboards that provide a clear and real-time view of campaign performance against our competitors. Analyze campaign data to measure account takeover and ruthlessly optimize strategies for maximum impact and efficiency. Manage the competitive campaign budget with precision, providing accurate forecasts and regular updates on spend.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
Live and breathe the competitive landscape, understanding our rivals' strategies, products, pricing, and vulnerabilities. Work with market intelligence teams to ensure a constant flow of actionable insights that can be leveraged in our marketing campaigns. Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Proven experience in a campaign management or performance marketing role with a demonstrated focus on competitive strategy, preferably within the B2B technology sector. A track record of success in developing and executing marketing campaigns that have measurably impacted competitors and driven business growth. A tenacious, results-obsessed mindset with a focus on winning and a proactive, creative approach to problem-solving. Strong analytical skills and experience in competitive intelligence gathering and analysis. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead high-stakes projects in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to unite and lead cross-functional teams toward a common goal. Data-driven with expertise in marketing analytics, reporting, and using data to build a business case and prove success. Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua), CRM systems (e.g., Oracle), and competitive intelligence tools. Oral and written fluency in English. Qualifications

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges.
