Summary:

The

Customer Service Associate (CSA)

serves as the main point of contact between the supply chain and assigned external customers. This role manages relationships by becoming familiar with customer needs, processes, and procedures, and partnering with the Sales team to provide exceptional service for all accounts.

Full Description Act as the primary contact between the company's supply chain and assigned customers. Manage all aspects of the customer relationship, including analyzing incoming emails and providing prompt resolutions. Build and maintain positive, effective relationships with key internal contacts. Use multiple dispatch systems (TES, LME, FourKites, OTR) and external scheduling systems (Retailix, Retail Link, UNFI, One Network, etc.) to resolve issues across all business units. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and software applications. Stay informed about customer organizational structures, procedures, and other relevant details. Identify cost-effective solutions to meet both company and customer needs. Develop creative solutions to resolve issues that impact delivery performance and customer satisfaction. Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in customer service or transportation/logistics. Experience:

Customer service experience beyond a traditional call center environment. Dispatch experience in transportation/logistics is a plus. Computer Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required. Ability to manage high-volume email communication (up to or exceeding 300 emails per day). Communication & Soft Skills:

Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills. Conflict management and negotiation skills. Ability to multi-task and maintain a positive attitude. Strong problem-solving abilities.
