Job Summary: Improvix Technologies is seeking an experienced and skilled
ServiceNow Architect
to support our Federal client. This fully remote position requires a candidate with expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to support the division's IT modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ServiceNow architecture, integration, and custom development, along with a strong background in leveraging ServiceNow to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and optimize ServiceNow solutions to meet the customer's business needs. Lead the end-to-end architecture of ServiceNow implementations, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Provide expertise in customizing ServiceNow applications and modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and Security Operations. Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and third-party tools, ensuring seamless data flow and robust security. Develop and implement strategies for data migration, workflow automation, and performance tuning. Ensure that ServiceNow solutions meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and security. Lead code reviews, quality assurance testing, and deployment planning for ServiceNow updates and new features. Serve as a technical lead and mentor for other developers, guiding the team in ServiceNow development and best practices. Produce detailed technical documentation for system designs, configurations, and integration processes. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow functionality and performance. Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow updates and new features, and continuously recommend improvements to the system. Work closely with the DOS ADD team to ensure that solutions align with strategic goals and IT modernization initiatives. Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect or similar role. Proven experience with ServiceNow implementations, including modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and Security Operations. Expertise in ServiceNow integrations with external systems and third-party applications. Strong understanding of ServiceNow data models, workflows, and scripting (JavaScript, REST APIs). Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, custom development, and troubleshooting.
Technical Skills: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or similar certifications preferred. Familiarity with ServiceNow's ITOM capabilities, Service Catalog, and Reporting. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web technologies for custom development within ServiceNow. Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools (Jira, Jenkins, GitHub) is a plus. Knowledge of data security practices and integration security protocols.
Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Additional Skills and Competencies:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
