Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Full Time, Oncology Nurse Navigator to join our team! The Oncology nurse navigator is a professional registered nurse with surgical knowledge who offers individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to help overcome healthcare system barriers. Utilizing the nursing process, the nurse navigator provides education and resources to facilitate informed decision making and timely access to quality health and psychosocial care throughout all phases of the surgical continuum. Education and Experience: Graduate of an NLN accredited program; BSN preferred Valid State of Maine RN license Ability to prioritize and reprioritize quickly Ability to develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work autonomously Working knowledge of insurance coverage, managed care and community resources What It's Like Working At CMH: We are all about our team members growth and health.
