Summary The Warehouse Worker I position is responsible for performing an array of duties in a warehouse setting. Candidates will need organizational skills to include filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or processing, organizing, and receiving donations. You must be able to maintain a safe work environment while offering excellent customer service to donors and buyers alike. They will need to be good verbal and written communicators, who constantly talk to other warehouse staff and management about the status of tasks and orders and record their workflows according to company policy. Essential Functions Inspect, clean and tally donations produced for the stores floor and auction floor sale. Setups for auction. Assists truck helpers and drivers with racks and bin to load/unload trucks Pushes racks and carts to auction floor and assists in stocking the floor and pulling merchandise. Accepts and safeguards donations and keeps processing and donation areas in a clean, safe and organized manner. Provided excellent customer service to donors by greeting, assisting with accepting donations, and accurately completing donation receipts. When necessary, politely refuses and refers donors to other locations and thanks each donor for every donation. Safely and accurately loads donations into bins/gaylords and organizes them inside of the warehouse/front processing area. Maintains workstation in an organized manner. This includes the safe movement of product and trash/raw gaylords and bins to designated areas as needed. On time completion of assigned training and policies Performs other duties as assigned. Visually examine textiles for rips, tears, stains, holes and styles. He or she will place

saleable units

into laundry bins for the hanging/tagging stations. When laundry bins are full of saleable textiles, he or she will be transported to the assigned area at the hanger/tagger station.

Non-saleable items

will be placed in bulk delivery Gaylord for the salvage department. He or she is responsible to the Production Manager. Hanger/Tagger Role: The Hanger/Tagger processes pre-sorted clothing by placing each item on the appropriate hanger, tagging it with a tagging gun and colored tagger tails, and organizing it on a Z Rack by category. The Inspector collects completed racks for shipment. The role requires maintaining a quota of 95-100 pieces per hour to meet shipment goals and reports directly to the Production Manager.

There will be occasions when you may be asked to support the auction team to cover for an absent employee and assist with door coverage. The position may require rotation between different workstations to support department needs.

Qualifications At least 6 months of cash register/point of sale experience in a retail or fast-food environment. At least 6 months of warehouse experience in a retail or stock room environment. Participate in an annual Tuberculosis screening and/or other screenings when necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be granted where appropriate. Basic use of MS Office. The pay rate for this role is based on several factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The initial offer usually falls between the minimum and midpoint of the applicable salary range.
