Boston Scientific Peripheral Interventions (PI) seeks a motivated and results-oriented Capital Equipment Consultant to join our team. This role will work alongside our Interventional Oncology (IO) field sales, national accounts, strategic systems, and commercial excellence teams to exceed divisional and national revenue goals for capital equipment products. This role will be instrumental in launching new products and effectively collaborating with internal teams to introduce them to the market. Additionally, you will work closely with Physicians and healthcare facility administration to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a proven record in medical sales, excellent relationship-building skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of the capital and service landscape within the healthcare sector. This role will require 50% travel within designated geography. Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Sales Strategy Development:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals. In a highly collaborative environment, work closely with Directors of Sales, PV & IO Region Managers and Sales Consultants to identify strategic opportunities within your assigned geographic area. Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Conduct regular follow-ups and provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction in collaboration with the field sales organization. Needs Assessment:

Conduct thorough customer needs assessments to offer tailored capital and service solutions. Gather and analyze market, competitive, and customer data to inform sales strategies. Product Knowledge:

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's capital, service, and associated consumable products. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market developments. Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers, partnering with PV or IO field sales team on customer identification and follow-up. Demonstrate capital products and service offerings to highlight advantages, benefits, and value. Contract Negotiation:

Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales. Collaborate with our contracts and commercial excellence teams to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Work with C-level, Academic Medical Centers, IDNs, Capital VAC committees, and procurement supply chain. Business Planning, Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status. Provide quarterly and annual business plans for PV and IO leadership and sales teams. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, utilizing Salesforce, Tableau, and other platforms. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Foster and maintain collaboration with our PV and IO field selling teams to identify customers and create effective strategies to pursue opportunities across a divisional geography. Work closely with marketing, medical education, medical affairs, HEMA, customer service, and field service engineering teams to ensure alignment and communication. Continuous Improvement:

Seek ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. Participate in industry events, and networking activities to grow professional connections. Administrative:

Complete all company-required training within the required window. Timely submission of expenses & other administrative reports Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of capital device sales experience. Experience leading complex capital and service sales cycles within IDN, AMC, and OBLs. Experience executing new product launches in competitive markets. Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate, and close business effectively with cross-functional selling teams. Strong business acumen and strategic problem-solving skills. Proven ability to influence and interact effectively with internal and external customers. Ability to provide examples of consultative negotiation and closing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand complex financial, technical & contractual landscapes. Preferred Qualifications:

Top down and bottom-up sales experience. 7+ years of proven experience in sales in peripheral, interventional, or coronary space. Experience in sales management is highly preferred. Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce), Tableau and Microsoft Office Suite. 50% travel required within regional geography The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $90,000 to $135,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
