General Production Worker
As a Production Operator, you will handle finished product boxes, moving them by hand into larger count boxes and onto pallets. The products will typically weigh 10-15lbs. You will lift a 50lb box approximately ten times daily. During short changeover periods, you will sweep and tidy the area. While the role is not overly physical, it requires repetitive lifting, standing on concrete for a 10-hour shift, and moving around the plant. Handle and move finished product boxes into larger boxes and onto pallets. Lift 10-15lbs boxes repetitively and 50lbs boxes occasionally. Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and tidying during changeover periods. Stand on concrete for 10-hour shifts and move throughout the plant as needed. Ability to lift 15lbs repetitively and 50lbs occasionally. Capability to stand on concrete for 10-hour shifts, 4-5 times a week. Meeting PPE standards, including wearing slip-resistant steel toe shoes and no jewelry Willingness to work in an environment with powder dust. No educational requirements. The role is on the 2nd shift from 4pm to 2:30am & overtime is typically on Fridays. The environment is temperature-controlled! This is a contract position based out of Terre Haute, Indiana. The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
