Assembler A/B
Join our dynamic team as an Assembler A/B, where you will play a crucial role in the complex and final assembly of electromechanical products. You will interpret blueprints, schematics, and written specifications, and plan assembly procedures when not fully prescribed. Your expertise will ensure components are adjusted, fitted, and aligned to meet inspection standards, all while operating hand and power tools, soldering equipment, and measuring instruments. You will also conduct functional and diagnostic testing of assemblies, maintain accurate documentation of work performed, and follow safety protocols to maintain a clean work environment. Responsibilities
Perform complex and final assembly of electromechanical products. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and written specifications. Plan assembly procedures when not fully prescribed. Adjust, fit, and align components to close tolerances to meet inspection standards. Operate hand and power tools, soldering equipment, and measuring instruments. Conduct functional and diagnostic testing of assemblies. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Perform other duties as assigned within the same salary grade or below. Essential Skills
Mechanical Assembly
Assembling mechanical systems and components with precision. Electrical Assembly
Wiring, soldering, and testing electrical components. Blueprint Reading
Interpreting technical drawings and schematics accurately. Hand & Power Tool Operation
Skilled use of tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, and soldering irons. Machine Operation
Operating and troubleshooting automated assembly equipment. Assembly Techniques
Knowledge of sub-assemblies, point-to-point wiring, and cable harness layout. Quality Control
Inspecting components and assemblies to meet strict standards. Technical Troubleshooting
Diagnosing and resolving issues during assembly. Additional Skills & Qualifications
