Responsibilities H-E-B Facility Alliance Partners are leading-edge innovators in facility design, construction, and maintenance. As an F&E Project Manager I, you'll manage fixture and equipment (F&E) acquisition and logistics on medium-size capital and reinvestment projects in support of H-E-B Retail Store Operations. We are looking for: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, construction, architecture, or comparable experience. 3+ years of experience. What is the work? Project Management: Generates RFQs and purchase orders for all equipment/supplies supporting store expansions, remodels, and potentially new store construction; assists with medium complex projects and an average number of projects at any one time. Coordinates/directs departmental and brand-related projects in conjunction with regularly assigned projects. Provides feedback to category managers related to supplier performance and alignment with direction of the business. Works with merchants, design & construction, and category managers from project conception; identifies needed new/missing items; reviews architectural plans for store projects; uses technology to develop a complete bill of materials for all capital equipment and expense/supply items on each assigned project. Coordinates material orders, inventory levels, expedite/prioritize, release of materials, tracking of orders through F&E warehouses; coordinates shipping, related issues through H-E-B transportation. Finalises item information on technical categories through submittal process; works with design & construction, engineering, third-party consultants, and OEM vendors. Manages projects with construction and general contractors; coordinates on hand inventories in warehouse and direct to site shipments; maintains service levels across multiple facilities and suppliers. Manages all aspects of equipment and supply deliveries. Develops initial fixtures & equipment budget through plan review with design; manages budget through all construction phases; report detailed cost analyses by department to construction team. Collaborates with design & construction, category managers, engineering, and vendors to implement change requests at lowest cost to H-E-B within established deadlines. What is your background?
