Campus Minister For Faith Formation

Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, is seeking a full-time, 10-month (August through May) Campus Minister for Faith Formation. Reporting to the Director of Campus Ministry, the Campus Minister for Faith Formation plays a vital role in cultivating a vibrant, inclusive, and spiritually enriching environment rooted in the Catholic and Benedictine tradition. This position supports students, staff, and faculty in their spiritual development through retreats, faith-sharing groups, pastoral care, and faith formation initiatives. As a member of the Division of Student Development and Mission serving on the Campus Ministry team, the Campus Minister collaborates with campus partners to promote holistic growth and engagement across diverse faith traditions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The role involves leading faith formation and student engagement initiatives by planning retreats, overseeing small groups, and providing pastoral support, including coordinating the OCIA program. It emphasizes student leadership development through recruitment, training, and a synodal discernment process. The position fosters collaboration with the Campus Ministry team and other departments, promotes communication across campus, and represents Campus Ministry at events. It also includes supporting interfaith engagement, maintaining inclusive religious programming, and highlighting spiritual diversity. Administrative responsibilities include managing program logistics, strategic planning, and reporting. Additional duties involve regular meetings and other tasks as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide administrative and functional supervision of student leaders and volunteers involved in retreat planning, small group leadership, and OCIA. Supervise student employees as needed. Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Pastoral Ministry, or a related field (preferred). Strong knowledge and commitment to the Catholic intellectual and theological tradition. Demonstrated experience in retreat planning, small group leadership, and OCIA program implementation. Proven ability to engage and accompany young adults in their faith journey. Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Catholic liturgical practices and the OCIA process. Fluency in diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to foster interfaith dialogue and spiritual literacy. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Creative, motivated, and collaborative team player committed to Catholic higher education and the mission of Saint Anselm College.
