Job Title
Set up Swiss CNC lathes (Star or similar) including tooling, offsets, and program loading. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T symbols, and work instructions. Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances. Monitor machine operations, tool wear, and part quality during production runs. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues quickly to minimize downtime. Conduct routine maintenance and ensure machines are in good working condition. Document setups, process changes, and inspection results per company standards. Collaborate with programmers, quality inspectors, and production leads to optimize efficiency. Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area. Qualifications
5+ years of Swiss CNC machine setup experience (Star, etc.). Strong understanding of CNC programming concepts and tooling applications. Proficient in reading blueprints and applying GD&T. Skilled in precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, etc.). Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude. College Degree or significant work experience. Competitive salary based on experience: $60,000$90,000 per year. Company Profile
