Resident Maintenance Technician Level III
The Resident Maintenance Technician Level III is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. Acts as a material handling technician on all equipment installed at the Clifton, NJ site location. This role will be working 1st shift, 9 am - 5:30 pm; Monday - Friday. Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do In This Role: Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry. Build and close work orders into the asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and understand the resources needed to resolve them. Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory. Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications. Respond to service calls and accurately diagnose equipment failures and faults. Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to tackle them. Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization. What We Are Looking For: High School diploma or equivalent experience required. Typically, an associate's degree or vocational technical training is preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred. 2-3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred. Proven experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above. Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each. Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head. Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds. Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation. Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces. Must be able to stand/walk for up to 1012 hours. Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.
