Senior Sourcing Director Of Global Category Management-Indirect
Reporting to the SVP of Strategic Sourcing, this person will be a critical leader responsible for leading the development and implementation of sourcing strategies across all Regal Rexnord segments with a focus on indirect procurement. The Senior Sourcing Director of Global Category Management-Indirect will be a primary point of supply chain leadership for Regal Rexnord facilities and a critical leader within the global supply chain team reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Sourcing. In concert with the supply chain organization, this key role will be responsible for providing comprehensive sourcing leadership of key Indirect categories and support to Regal Rexnord's Business Segments and Operations with primary focus on cost management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management. This key role will work closely with the global supply chain teams, plant operations, segment and corporate leaders in the development of strategic plans and actions, while proactively engaged in supporting projects to assure attainment of agreed upon performance across Regal Rexnord. This position partners in the establishment and deployment of standard processes, policies & procedures, taking the necessary steps to assure compliance. This position leads the effort to achieve and maintain alignment in the value chain between the suppliers, and the end customer in all form, fit, function, price, service, and delivery requirements. This leader will collaborate with stakeholders (including engineering leaders, functional leaders, P&L Leaders) to develop category strategies, analyze spend data to identify opportunities, and lead the team through strategy formulation and execution. This leader will work with manufacturing leaders and the sourcing team to drive category strategies for spend areas like MRO, Packaging, CAPEX, required to support manufacturing operations. Additionally, this leader will work as a liaison between the corporate functions and critical third-party providers of services including IT, Logistics, Legal and Professional services. This individual will partner with all levels of leadership cross-functionally to build impactful, efficient, and cost-effective business and supplier relationships. This leader will support initiatives and processes targeted at improving operational and supply chain execution, customer service levels, customer segmentation strategies, and the optimization of the "total cost to serve" for the entire order entry to delivery process and will share responsibility for trade working capital (TWC) metrics and execution. Supports Regal Rexnord's overall objectives, providing strategic leadership by setting the vision, strategy, and objectives, for the Sourcing Organization supporting an annual spend of ~$900M. Establish Regal Rexnord's indirect sourcing strategy with focus on of our manufacturing operations and corporate functions that support our customers globally Provides guidance the enterprise sourcing indirect team composed of sourcing managers on our largest indirect spend categories, including but not limited to packaging, MRO, IT, Logistics, Professional Services, Energy, Travel and Expense. Serve as strategic partner to Regal Rexnord Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, to drive appropriate Global and Regional Indirect commodity strategies for the entire organization which drive year over year enterprise value. Implement and execute best-in-class decision making, e.g., Preferred Supplier programs, effective T&C structure and Global LTAs. Establishes proper metrics to ensure sourcing decisions follow TCO principles and delivers business value. Lead negotiations with suppliers, often dealing with internal and external leaders at higher organizational levels (VP's, Principals, CFO's). Leverage aggregate enterprise-wide volumes to negotiate "best-cost-first" for the system with involvement of key stakeholders. Strategic partner with all Regal Rexnord Segments Manage, evaluate, track and report relevant commodities and market trends from a historical and forecasting perspective. Establish annual goals and objectives, including stretch targets for function/team and manage individual performance to assure attainment. Responsible for timely reporting of agreed upon KPIs and strategic sourcing plans, activities, and successes to the Senior Leadership Teams. Lead development and management of supplier scorecards and implement countermeasures to compensate for negative performance & market trends. Drive SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) and ensure SBRs (Supplier Business Reviews) are conducted with identified strategic suppliers by commodity. Build and maintain solid relationships with global strategic supply chain partners to ensure period-over-period process improvements, including VA/VE and innovative supply chain technologies Leads management processes/systems that ensure a structured review of supplier pricing performance vs. appropriate benchmarks; run competitive sourcing to align supplier costs to market (with appropriately accounting for regional and volume impacts). Drives our Regal Rexnord Business System in service through the development and implementation of supply chain strategies aligned to optimize performance. Promotes Regal Rexnord vision, mission, values, initiatives and company policies, continuously improving and reducing risks within the operations. Coach, develop, hire and retain professional talent required to support the growing indirect procurement needs across the organization. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency and performance. Ensure the organization is fully staffed and skilled to meet both long-term strategic and close-in operational goals as aligned with Regal Rexnord and the Business Segments Collaborates with finance in managing and improving working capital year over year Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in supply chain management, engineering, industrial management, business, or related field. MBA in supply chain management or related desirable. Proven track record of minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership responsibility in sourcing leadership, with at least 7 years of prior leadership experience. Development and leadership of a global sourcing team. Category management experience with a focus on indirect categories including: Logistics, MRO, Energy, Packaging, Capital Equipment, Professional Services, Travel and Expense programs, and IT. Experience with development of strategic sourcing processes and development of a strategic sourcing team. Sourcing for Industrial Manufacturing a plus. APICS certification is preferred. Demonstrated ability to drive productivity and compliance throughout a complex organization. Ability to support multifaced business requirements established by each Segment. Comfortable working in a results-oriented environment with broad base of business requirements. Ability to think strategically, conceptually, and analytically to assess problems, identify and consider potential solutions, and make timely recommendations. 80/20 Experience and Business and Operational Segmentation preferred Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, interact, and influence at all levels of the organization to drive results. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellence in generating accurate and understandable data and reports to analyze performance to make data-driven decisions. Proven ability to develop trusted, respectful relationships internally and externally. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills. High level of personal initiative, energy and ownership of business results. Strong Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications required. Knowledge of Oracle a plus. Travel: Up to 50%; likely in the 30-35% range Language: English Compensation Details: Expected Base Salary Range: $188,000 - $254,000 The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
