One of the leading engineering firms is looking for a Billing Analyst. Job Description
The Billing Analyst is responsible for completing the invoicing process for assigned clients and assisting with billing overflow from the departments. The Billing Analyst will be required to utilize technology to develop and implement billing solutions for complex client requirements and system modifications designed to accommodate billing solutions. This position is integral for finding billing solutions. Qualifications
Analyze and interpret contracts to determine proper invoicing requirements & formats. Analyze client invoicing requirements and generate custom invoice templates and system generated invoices for various engineering and construction contracts. Manage the review and approval of invoices with internal project managers. Responsible for quality assurance for invoicing process including verifying the accuracy of invoice calculations. Analyze and issue documentation as back-up that is to be submitted to the client with the invoice to expedite invoice payment. Manage assigned client based invoicing log for prioritization and management of workload. Manage unbilled work in progress and project status billing process. Responsible for verifying invoice payments for customized projects. Audit projects with complicated invoicing requirements. Recommend and implement billing solutions using current technology to maximize efficiency and accuracy of existing systems & processes. Assist with testing the accuracy of system modifications designed to accommodate billing solutions. All other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business from an accredited university (preferably with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance). Minimum 2 years professional work experience in engineering and construction experience. Advanced skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel - including experience with developing & executing macros, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat. Proven ability to analyze and interpret engineering and construction contracts. Previous Oracle experience preferred. Self-starter, proficient in time management to handle deadline pressure and multiple assignments simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
