Full time position - 40 hours per week Monday -Friday Hours are 5pm-1am Location: On site, Indianapolis 46219 The second shift Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conveyor and material-handling systems within the CVS Distribution Center. This position serves as the technical lead for the conveyor maintenance team, ensuring that equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime to support distribution operations. As the Maintenance Group Leader, you will: Work closely with the Facilities Services Manager to monitor the day-to-day operations and performance of the department. Communicate deviations from expected outcomes to the Facilities Services Manager and other leadership as needed. Serve as the primary point of contact for all conveyor-related maintenance issues. Lead and guide a team of mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on conveyor systems, sorters, scanners, and related equipment. Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize impact on production and ensure maximum equipment uptime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, including belts, motors, bearings, rollers, drives, and PLC-controlled systems. Ensure all work orders are completed accurately in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. Assist in training maintenance staff on conveyor repair procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades, replacements, or process improvements. Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and ensure timely ordering of required components. Adhere to OSHA, lockout/tagout, and CVS Health safety standards during all maintenance activities. Provide regular reports to management on equipment condition, team performance, and maintenance metrics. Perform all other related tasks as requested by Facilities Services Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the building and support for the operations team. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in industrial maintenance preferred. Minimum 35 years of experience in conveyor system maintenance, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including PLC troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment with changing priorities. Physical demands: Frequently lift 20-45 lbs; Occasionally lift 45-75 lbs; Frequent walking, standing, pulling and climbing. Comfortable working at an elevation of 30+ feet.
