We are hiring for a Field Service Technician on aPart-Time Basis (up to 35 hours/month) to provide routine technical maintenance and service in retail locations within 100 miles of DMA. Flexible hours.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: Maintain, troubleshoot and replace software/hardware as needed in all assigned locations. Provide detailed account of visits to PRN/STRATACACHE HD. Maintain detailed records of each site visit, generate daily/weekly reports Assume responsibility for prioritizing and completing all work following established policies and guidelines. Develop and maintain positive working relationship with site management and associates to leverage problem resolution and compliance support. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or college degree preferred. 1-2 years relevant experience. Must have experience working with consumer electronics and computers, and possess software system aptitude and networking knowledge. Prior POS troubleshooting experience is a plus Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills; reliability and accuracy are essential. Must be motivated to work with minimal supervision. Must demonstrate excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills as well as superb organizational and time management skills. Ability to climb 6' ladder, lift 30lbs, and ability to use basic hand and power tools Superior customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with store management, help desk agents and PRN management.
