Job Title: Safety Manager, Human Resource

Pay Rate: $80,000-$85,000 /Annual salary

As the Safety Manager of the Human Resources Team, this position is responsible for leading and maintaining a comprehensive safety and risk management program across all departments. This role ensures compliance with OSHA and state regulations, manages workers' compensation claims, and promotes a proactive safety culture aligned with The Broadmoor's luxury service standards.

What you will be doing:

Complete and file First Report of Injury with insurance carrier in a timely manner. Complete and file accidents on OSHA log. Complete OSHA log 300 on a yearly basis. Set up and maintain employee accident files. Perform case management and follow-up meetings on each accident and workers' compensation case. Organize and conduct quarterly Workers' Compensation open case review with carrier(s), attorneys and other appropriate parties. Conduct Workers' Compensation and Safety training on an on-going basis to include departmental safety walks and audits. Organize and facilitate a safety committee for the hotel. Verifies and audits Workers' Compensation billing. Work closely with Leave Specialist to maintain all physician notes from employees to ensure HIPPA compliance. Ensures OSHA compliance & training is consistent throughout the Hotel. Coordinate and manage the modified duty program. Administers the driver's license record check program. Conducts Orientation safety training for New Employee Orientation. Work with the Training team to create and implement safety training. Responsible for tracking the worker's compensation budget Assist the Director of Human Resources with special projects as assigned. Other duties or projects as assigned by the Director of Human Resources or the Vice President of Human Resources. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Other duties as assigned. What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in safety management or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards (e.g., 29 CFR 1910). Proven experience managing workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs Strong understanding of workplace safety practices, risk assessments, and incident investigations Excellent communication skills to engage employees at all levels, work with claims adjustors, lawyers, and workman's compensation broker. Proficiency in maintaining safety records and preparing compliance reports.
