Job Description :

We are seeking a

Lead Business Systems Analyst

to collaborate with the Data Services management team and stakeholders to document business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and support the development of effective solutions for defined projects. This role involves researching emerging IT systems and technologies, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals and values. The Business Analyst will work closely with IT and various departments to enhance operational efficiency, financial performance, and project outcomes.

Responsibilities: • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to inform functional and technical solutions. • Research and evaluate new technologies to recommend beneficial solutions. • Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and project teams. • Identify process improvement opportunities and propose actionable solutions. • Maintain accurate documentation for projects, processes, and operational workflows. • Participate in weekly scrum meetings with the Data Services management team. • Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements based on industry best practices. • Support development and deployment of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements. • Prepare and present reports to leadership to support strategic decisions. • Ensure business requirements are integrated into project solutions from initiation to completion.

Required Skills: • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, information technology, or a related field. • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis or project coordination. • Strong skills in gathering requirements, developing technical specifications, and facilitating solution development. • Proficiency with document management tools and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Sensei IQ, Microsoft Project). • Experience with data analytics, business intelligence, and statistical analysis. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders. • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail under pressure. • Familiarity with upgrading, troubleshooting, and implementing hardware and software. • Strong knowledge of business process documentation and project management principles.

Nice to Have: • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. • Advanced data visualization skills. • Familiarity with government or public sector operations. • Knowledge of change management methodologies.
