You will function as a key C-17 Globemaster III Program Management specialist, working as part of the C-17 Beyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS) Integrated Product Team (IPT) to execute program management duties and functions related to the BLOS modification. This includes efforts such as production of acquisition documentation, risk identification and mitigation planning. You will independently collaborate with C-17 functional teams and HQ AFMC personnel to support the C-17 BLOS IPT in tracking program execution schedules, issues and actions. You will facilitate contract asset delivery tracking, hardware status tracking, and Military Equipment Valuation reporting. You will apply your expertise to contribute to an efficient and effective implementation of the C-17 BLOS modification program, making key contributions to enhance the C-17's ability to rapidly project and sustain an effective combat force close to potential battle areas. Key Responsibilities

Update or develop milestone documentation supporting the C-17 BLOS program's acquisition strategy and supporting the Fielding Control Board and Milestone C approval Develop and manage risk management plans for risks associated with the C-17 BLOS program. Ensure timely and accurate tracking of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) Track and maintain current status of ordered items (such as communication or SATCOM kits, ARC-210 radios, etc) Support C-17 Program Management Reviews (PMRs), IPT Meetings, and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance Create the documents associated with the Military Equipment Valuation (MEV) process for the C-17 BLOS program, ensuring data reporting accuracy for each MEV data call Work Environment

Location:

On-site at Robins Air Force Base with some remote work allowable (~20%) Travel Requirements:

Minimal travel required (0-20%) Working Hours:

8 hours scheduled per day, with core hours 0900-1530. Schedule flex allowable with supervisor's permission. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline 10+ years of experience directly related to the job requirements Experience managing an ACAT III program as the primary program manager or the deputy Four or more years of experience in an Air Force Systems Program Office (SPO) supporting acquisition Detailed understanding of DoD Instruction 5000.02 Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification in Program Management at Level I or Practitioner levels Desired Qualifications

Experience at multiple Air Force or DoD sites while executing acquisition functions Six or more years of experience drafting and/or updating DoD acquisition documentation in support of formal DoD acquisition programs Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification in Program Management at Level III or Advanced levels Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute Ready to Make a Difference?
