RF Engineer II
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented RF Engineer II to support the design and optimization of LTE and 5G Radio Frequency Network. This role involves hands-on RF design work, regulatory compliance, and documentation, with a strong emphasis on antenna selection and network performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in RF principles and be comfortable working independently across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and plan RF networks for LTE and 5G, including RF analysis, search area issuance, candidate assessment, and approvals. Redesign mature network areas to alleviate capacity constraints and improve SINR. Perform macro/small cell/in-building designs, including antenna selection and placement. Ensure new cell sites are properly integrated and optimized for peak performance. Utilize internal tools such as FUZE and ATOLL for RF design and regulatory compliance. Complete RF documentation including RFDS and CIQ files. Interpret antenna specifications and select appropriate antennas based on site requirements. Understand base station and transmitter functionality to support design decisions. Must-Have Skills: 23 years of experience in RF engineering or related projects. Proficiency with ATOLL and FUZE (RF Design, CIQ, etc.). Strong understanding of RF design principles and antenna theory. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Experience with RF documentation and regulatory processes. Desired Skills: Familiarity with LTE, VoLTE, 5G, VoNR technologies. Knowledge of microwave systems and frequency licensing. Understanding of base station architecture and antenna specifications. Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred but not required.
