Executive Assistant To The Deputy Mayor For Housing, Economic Development, And Workforce
The New York City Mayor's Office is responsible for overseeing city services throughout the five boroughs, coordinating public agencies and departments, and managing public property. New York City Mayor Eric Adams is head of the executive branch of New York City's government. Previously, Mayor Adams has served the people of New York City as an NYPD officer, state senator, and Brooklyn borough president. The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Housing, Economic Development, and Workforce oversees the City's housing, economic development, cultural, planning, and workforce agencies, and works to create a more vibrant and equitable New York City. The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Housing, Economic Development, and Workforce is seeking a qualified individual to serve as an Executive Assistant to support the Deputy Mayor for Housing, Economic Development, and Workforce. The role will report to the Chief of Staff for the Deputy Mayor and will be responsible for scheduling, administrative tasks, and coordination of special projects as needed under the Deputy Mayor's portfolio. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Scheduling
Manage the Deputy Mayor's calendar and lead administrative functions of the office. Operations Coordination
Work with the executive team, senior advisors, agencies, and City Hall staff to execute operational functions of the team as needed. Interagency Coordination
Coordinate with agencies, boards, commissions, and organizations as needed for special projects, operations, and implementation across the entire portfolio. About You: You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have attention to detail and excellent organization skills, including the ability to manage complex scheduling and sensitive information. You have demonstrated experience in task and information management, including adhering to targeted deadlines and problem-solving. Qualifications: You have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university.
