Collateral Lien Release And Lien Perfection Specialist

The Collateral Lien Release & Lien Perfection Specialist is responsible for processing collateral lien release and lien perfection requests for consumer and commercial loans. The specialist monitors the Collateral Team's group email box and serves as a backup for lien release and lien perfection processes. The Collateral Lien Release & Lien Perfection Specialist also serves as Team Lead for the Collateral Team. The Team Lead assists the Collateral Team Manager with various team tasks. The Lending Services Specialist demonstrates high standards for quality, quantity and a high concentration level for protecting the loan assets of the bank and demonstrates a high level of customer service with internal and external customers. Essential duties and responsibilities include: 30% productivity, 30% service quality, 20% risk management, and 20% lives our company values. Areas of responsibility include: assists with team lead responsibilities, processes various requests from the Collateral Team group email box, assists with the consumer and commercial lien release tasks, assists with the consumer and commercial lien perfection tasks, assists with onboarding and training new employees, assists with basic managerial tasks when the manager is not present, maintains compliance with policy and procedures, and works closely with teammates to ensure proper communication. Education and/or work experience requirements include a high school diploma with at least five years of experience in lending or a related field. College degree with loan-consumer and/or commercial experience or experience working with or identifying loan documents is preferred but not required. Knowledge of general banking products or lending knowledge and general knowledge of the lien release and lien perfection process is preferred but not required. Skills include strong written and verbal communications skills, teamwork/teambuilding skills, general office skills including typing, filing, and applicable technology, high attention to detail, and strong computer skills. Physical requirements include the ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with or without the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
