Summer Internship Position Responsibilities
Assist in gathering and analyzing supplier information, pricing trends, and market data to support sourcing strategies. Help prepare and process purchase orders, track order status, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Support cost savings projects by compiling data, analyzing spend, and identifying opportunities for efficiencies. Assist in maintaining supplier records, updating contact information, and tracking performance metrics. Help organize procurement contracts, agreements, and compliance documentation. Work with operations, planning, and finance teams to align purchasing activities with production needs. Participate in projects aimed at improving procurement processes and enhancing supplier performance. Perform general administrative tasks, prepare reports, and create presentations for procurement leadership. Qualifications

3 years of progress towards a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field. Overall and within major GPA of 3.0 or higher. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; knowledge of ERP systems a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Interest in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management within the food manufacturing industry.
