This position is scheduled for 32.5 hours per week. Located in Ypsilanti, MI, South Pointe Scholars Charter Academy opened in 2012 and serves students Young 5-8. Duties and responsibilities include assessing student abilities and providing instructional assistance for students in need of academic intervention through 1:1 or group workshops as directed by the classroom teacher and designated instructional leader. academically, morally, and socially. Implement result-driven curriculum to achieve significant growth from fall to spring testing. Attend professional development and articulation meetings with classroom teachers and parents as required. Qualifications include previous experience working in a school or with school age children
preferred. Knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and/or mathematics. Understanding of and capability to navigate technical systems.
