Process Technician

Under the direction of the Molding Supervisor, the Process Technician is primarily responsible for managing the injection molding machines. This role is essential for ensuring safety, quality, and delivery objectives within the department. Responsibilities

Set up and operate injection molding machines for shaping plastics while maintaining departmental Safety, Quality, and Delivery objectives. Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery. Adjust machine settings to accurately complete mold setup tasks according to specifications and standards in a timely fashion. Install dies in and out of machine according to work order specifications using clamps, bolts, and hand tools. Understand and mix resin materials and coloring pigments or recycled material according to formula. Complete all necessary paperwork, including cycle time sheets and setup sheets, in a timely and precise manner. Operate automated assembly machines in parallel with the molding cycle as needed. Assist in maintaining the flow of work through production departments as needed. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Essential Skills

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Basic troubleshooting experience. Injection molding process and setup experience. Plastics experience preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience within the injection molding industry. Molding setup and preventative maintenance experience. Mechanical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment. Why Work Here?

Work in a warm environment with machines running, during the 3rd shift from 10:30pm to 7am. Enjoy paid breaks consisting of 10 minutes, 20 minutes, and another 10 minutes. The facility operates in a plastics company setting with older machinery. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Waterford, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $66560.00/yr. Flexible work hours, available OT, promote from within, paid tuition for ongoing education/development, growth plan for 2025, paid breaks. Workplace Type
