Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute (LCI), a nationally recognized leader in cancer care and innovation, is seeking an accomplished and visionary Inaugural Director of the Sickle Cell Disease Program to lead our expanding program at the Winston-Salem Campus. About the Role As Director, you will lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals living with sickle cell disease. You will play a pivotal role in advancing clinical innovation, research, and community partnerships in collaboration with Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Sickle Cell Disease Program at the Winston-Salem Campus Develop and implement innovative care models that improve outcomes and quality of life including gene therapy and other novel modalities Foster collaboration across hematology, oncology, pain management, and supportive services Lead and support clinical and translational research initiatives Mentor and educate medical trainees and junior faculty Champion health equity and community engagement Why Winston-Salem & Atrium Health?
