Grounds Senior Worker
Perform assigned grounds maintenance duties on Radford University's campus, including athletic facilities, under the supervision of the Grounds Supervisor(s). Experience in the operation of hand tools and equipment in grounds keeping, such as lawnmowers, weed-eaters, and trimmers. Experience in grounds maintenance. Ability to interact in a positive manner with the campus community and fellow employees in a diverse environment. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. Ability to read basic maps and construction drawings. Must have a valid driver's license. Hands-on experience in athletic field maintenance. Pesticide applicator's license in areas 3A and 3B. Supervisory experience. Commercial Driver's License. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery. Experience with snow removal operations. Emergency call-in, essential personnel. Must have a valid driver's license. No grant funded position. Not restricted. Not eligible for telework. 40 hours per week, nights and weekends as required. 12 months per year. Non-Exempt. M-F 8:00 -5:00, some evenings and weekends as required. Trades Technician I. FM Landscaping. Starting at $36,000.
