California Projects)! Competitive salary of $13-k/year plus benefits. This is a remote position (Must be authorized to work in the U.S.) for projects around California (occasional travel may be required). We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Project Manager to oversee the execution of commercial and industrial solar energy projects across California. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity to lead projects for national clients involving Ground Mount, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Canopy, and Rooftop solar installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy construction, client communication, and multi-phase project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage full lifecycle of multiple solar projects from pre-construction through commissioning. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors to ensure project delivery on time and within budget. Oversee scheduling, budgeting, permitting, and compliance processes. Maintain strong communication with national clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned. Track project milestones and prepare regular status reports and updates. Ensure site safety compliance in accordance with OSHA, company, and client standards. Assist in contract negotiations, change order management, and risk mitigation planning. Provide technical and administrative support for BESS integration and interconnection requirements. Facilitate remote collaboration among internal and external teams. Requirements: Proven experience with Ground Mount, Canopy, Rooftop, and BESS systems. Strong knowledge of permitting and utility interconnection processes in California. Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Smartsheet). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to travel occasionally to project sites in California as needed. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred. Preferred Qualifications: NABCEP certification or PMP certification. OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification. Experience managing national accounts or enterprise-level clients.
