Armed Mobile Patrol Officer

We're seeking highly dependable and professional Armed Mobile Patrol Officers to support the RTD transit system across the Denver metro area. Duties include patrolling assigned areas, responding to calls on platforms, and riding trains when coverage is low or during inclement weather. Pay Rate: $27.46 per hour Schedule: Afternoon & Afternoon/Overnight combo Location: Denver, Englewood, North Denver Qualifications: Prior law enforcement experience, military with honorable discharge, or corrections experience. May be substituted with 7 years of unarmed security experience, 3 years of armed security, or 60 college credit units. This is an excellent opportunity for those with prior security or law enforcement experience who are looking to expand their skills in a dynamic, public-facing environment. Your ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and respond quickly will be key to your success. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills to deescalate situations on our transportation system, dedication to show up to work, and a dependability to work alone or in a team environment. Must have a valid Colorado driver's license. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
