The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University is seeking applications for part-time faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor

practice in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry. The primary responsibilities of this position will be didactic and clinical instruction in the pre-doctoral fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics curricula. Performance objectives include promoting evidence-based teaching skills in an education setting, demonstrating a passion for student education, applying advanced technology to enhance teaching and learning, participating in teaching activities consistent with division goals, demonstrating effective teaching skills through student and peer reviews, supporting a dental education model that incorporates innovative technologies, interdisciplinary education and patient care, and evidence-based clinical dentistry, providing interdisciplinary mentoring to students, demonstrating collaboration between college divisions, and membership in professional organizations and contributions to professional activities outside the university. Education and experience requirements include a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent degree and eligibility for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and experience in the application of advanced digital technology in dental education and an MS, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree. Board certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics is highly desirable. To apply, please submit your application electronically via Workday. The Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry is composed of several disciplines, including Operative Dentistry, Dental Anatomy, Occlusion, Fixed Prosthodontics, Removable Prosthodontics, Implant Dentistry, Digital Dentistry, and Dental Materials Science.
