1. The Assistant Director of Graphic Design contributes to the marketing efforts of Chicago Booth by efficiently and thoroughly producing a variety of design deliverables, including but not limited to:A variety of printed materials, including brochures, one-sheeters, and pamphletsArchiving, locating, resizing and manipulating a variety of photographic assetsCutting-edge presentation graphicsCompelling email and digital graphicsArtwork for high-quality branded merchandiseDesign and coordinate the production of signage for events and other signage needs2. Graphic Designer will excel at working closely with our internal teams to manage deadlines and produce stellar work in a friendly, fast-paced, collaborative environment3. Position is hybrid: in-person three days per week, and remote two days per week. Must be flexible about in-office days.4. Understand the importance of maintaining a consistent brand and adhering to brand standards MEASURES OF SUCCESS: 1. Ability to manage a variety of design and graphics-related production tasks with ease2. Staying on top of deadlines3. Maintaining a high level of quality work while keeping the Booth brand as a primary focus4. Excels at digital archiving and file management KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 1. Design-related Bachelors degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience2. Online portfolio demonstrating proficiency in graphic design required3. Complete familiarity with Apple Macintosh environment required4. Deep knowledge of and fluency with the Adobe Creative Suite required5. Knowledge of interactive and mobile user experience design and HTML5 is helpful but not mandatory6. Outstanding attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple projects in deadline-oriented environment, and excellent organizational skills required7. Excels at understanding design direction and making edits when necessary8. Ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people and thrive in a collaborative environment9.
