Summary Of Role

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking experienced professionals to support the state of the art 300mm semiconductor manufacturing and development in Malta, New York. The core responsibilities of this team involve ownership of process integration of semiconductor devices; monitoring performance and driving improvements related to technology yield, Cp/Cpk of inline and electrical parameters, defectivity, and more. Essential Responsibilities Include

Introduction to data analytics and correlations for defect issues. Data gathering and organizing of the existing procedures into a consolidated library. Development of reports and dashboards on the internal systems for faster data analytics. Other Responsibilities

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Required Qualifications

Education

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship. Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship. Preferred Qualifications

Prior related internship or co-op experience Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc. Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong planning & organizational skills. Prior knowledge of data analytics and programming skills.
