Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.
What we do:
The HR Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of core HR functions by providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team. This role focuses on enhancing the employee experience during onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining compliance with documentation requirements, and serving as a frontline support resource for HR-related inquiries via our internal ticketing and email systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What you can do:
Onboarding & Offboarding:
Manage and track completion of all new hire documentation and I-9 verification, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements
Facilitate and present new hire orientation sessions; prepare onboarding materials and coordinate logistics for first-day activities
Schedule and monitor new hire training sessions in person and within ADP and across other platforms
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure IT, facilities, and department managers are aligned for seamless onboarding and offboarding
Own the offboarding process including coordination of exit documentation, systems access removal, final pay coordination, and follow-up communications
Employee Support & Communication:
Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions submitted via ZenDesk and shared HR email inbox; triage and route inquiries to appropriate HR team members
Provide timely, professional, and customer-focused responses to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, onboarding, offboarding, and HR systems
HR Operations & Administration:
Accurately maintain and update employee electronic records in the HRIS (ADP) and internal filing tools, including job and supervisor changes, compensation adjustments, and terminations
Support internal audits and HR compliance efforts by maintaining clean, up-to-date records and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
Work with external immigration counsel to maintain all work authorization related matters
Maintain and update company organizational charts and HR-related documents as needed
Support the scheduling of meetings, training events, and other HR-related activities
Assist with the generation of HR reports and correspondence as requested
Ensure adherence to all relevant labor and employment laws and internal policies. Including but not limited to labor law posters
Handle incoming physical HR mail, including claims, verifications, audits, and records requests; respond or delegate as needed for timely resolution
General:
Collaborate with various members of the HR team to support projects and programs across all areas of the employee lifecycle
Support the Legal department to provide employee-related documentation and support, including retrieving personnel files and coordinating with other departments to fulfill subpoena requests and legal inquiries
Other duties and projects as assigned
What you can contribute:
Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience working in a human resource capacity (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent listening and comprehension skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Start-up experience preferred
SHRM certification preferred
ADP Workforce Now experience a plus
Ticket system experience a plus
Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
The per-hour pay range for this position is:
$36 - $44 USD
