Senior Manager Of IAM Cloud Engineering

The Senior Manager of IAM Cloud Engineering is responsible for leading the design, engineering, and implementation of IAM technologies across the enterprise. This hands-on role requires deep expertise in identity services, RBAC, PIM/PAM, MFA, SSO, and related standards and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, NTLM, LDAP, Kerberos, and PKI. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment, and experienced with IAM governance products like EntraID and Active Directory. The day-to-day responsibilities include: Leading the global IAM Cloud strategy and architecture identity solutions team, with a strong focus on cloud IAM engineering to ensure alignment with business objectives and security requirements. Evaluating, designing, engineering, and deploying IAM technologies across hybrid and cloud environments, driving automation, scalability, and secure integration with enterprise applications through cloud engineering best practices. Managing and mentoring IAM teams, including cloud engineering specialists, providing direction, support, and development to ensure effective delivery of IAM services and initiatives. Collaborating with InfoSec, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, cost-effective cloud engineering solutions while guiding operational teams on proactive monitoring, maintenance, and incident response. Staying up to date on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and system changes, applying cloud engineering insights to enhance IAM tools, processes, and infrastructure. Overseeing performance of internal teams and external partners, identifying opportunities for cloud engineering optimizations and enabling self-service through scripting and automation. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred). Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the identity and access management (IAM) domain, including exposure to cloud engineering practices. Preferred 5+ years of experience with leading IAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, Ping, Azure AD), including full lifecycle implementations and cloud engineering with platforms such as Azure and AWS. Strong knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC) and experience managing large-scale access reviews and identity lifecycle processes in cloud environments. Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible), CI/CD pipelines, and development/scripting in Java, .NET, or Python, supporting cloud engineering automation efforts. Solid understanding of security frameworks (PCI, NIST, ITGC), with strong communication skills; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are a plus.
