Assembler
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Assemblers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting shop drawings and wiring diagrams, assembling electromechanical units, and ensuring the finished products meet specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities
Interpret shop drawings and wiring diagrams accurately. Read and understand Bills of Manufacturing to determine components and assembly sequences. Make electrical connections on cords and wires according to specifications. Modify parts using machine tools, power, and pneumatic hand tools. Assemble parts, and align and fasten assemblies using hand and power tools. Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Measure parts to determine tolerances using tape measures and precision instruments. Attach labels and mark identifying information on parts. Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure compliance with specifications. Work Environment
The work environment is clean and organized, with small assembly stations spaced 3-5 feet apart. Flexibility is encouraged as employees may work in various departments, including warehouse areas where materials are handled and cut using small tools. The facility is large, housing over 200 employees, with available shifts including 1st (M-TH, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM), 3rd (M-TH, 7:30 PM - 5:00 AM), Weekend Day (F-SUN, 6 AM - 6 PM), and Weekend Night (F-SUN, 6 PM - 6 AM). Weekend shifts offer pay for 40 hours if all three days are worked. The dress code is casual, jeans, t-shirts, and steel toe shoes. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
