The Impact You'll Make In This Role: As a Special Projects & M&A Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Support the acquisition and divestiture settlement statement process by: Preparing month end journals Reconciling the settlement statements Ensuring transaction level activity is being processed as expected Coordinating the exchange and recording of invoices by the local team Identifying process improvements for settlement statement process via automation (e.g. Alteryx), and Centrally leading entity TSA exits by coordinating entries needed, assisting the local team with ERP setup and providing guidance on transaction flow (for example, inventory). Support current and future merger, acquisition and/or divestiture activities by: Participating in due diligence and working capital analysis Master data set up Preparing journal entries Leading the general ledger mapping into Solventum ERP Purchase accounting preparation and push down to local teams Supporting the business with integration activities Your Skills And Expertise: To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher AND four (4) years of Finance and/or Accounting experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Master's degree in finance, accounting or related degree CPA and/or CMA Previous experience in a Big 4 organization Experience with mergers, acquisitions or divestitures and related purchase accounting Alteryx proficiency: skilled in workflow design, data blending, and automation Knowledge and experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JDE) Ability to work collaboratively across various functions Financial acumen Creative problem solving Self-starter with ability to drive change Verbal and written communication skills Organization and prioritization skills Work location: Remote - United States Travel: May include up to [5%][domestic/international] Relocation Assistance: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $106,331 - $129,960, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
