Mechanical Designer Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a mechanical designer with strong Autodesk Inventor skills to join a leading engineering firm specializing in industrial air pollution control equipment. This role involves designing and detailing large industrial equipment to meet customer specifications. Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed 2D and 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor. Work with P&IDs to model industrial equipment. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to create fabrication and general arrangement drawings. Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date. Assist in streamlining the design process to meet deadlines efficiently. Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in mechanical design using Autodesk Inventor. Experience with heavy industrial equipment, weldments, or ductwork (not conveyor systems). Strong understanding of fabrication processes and large-scale equipment design. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. Job Details:
Location: Kennesaw, GA (Hybrid
WFH on Fridays). Pay Rate: $28-$45/hr (DOE). Term: 6-month contract-to-direct hire. Schedule: M-F, flexible start between 7-9 AM. Overtime: Possible (1.5x bill rate). Travel: Minimal to none.
